Holy Spirit, help me keep the covenant and remember to do God’s commandments...

 
Sirach 17: 1-15 & Psalm 103
                                                                                      
How am I to become the ‘best version of myself’ ?  The answer is quite simple.  As much as I live with faithfulness and trust into the covenant of God with human beings, that is the agreement to remain in the signed, sealed and delivered love relationship with our Creator no matter what happens, I have a vision for my life.  And as much as I remember to do God’s commandments – to love God with all my heart, mind, soul and strength, and to love my neighbour as myself –I have a plan of action. Will l wander on the misty flats of human philosophies and ideals, or will I resolutely walk with Christ Jesus along the path of Life, and Love?  Holy Spirit, help me keep the covenant and remember to do God’s commandments.
 
Happy are those ... whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law they meditate day and night. (Psalm 1:1-2)
 
What you do matters — but not much. What you are matters tremendously.
