Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path. (Psalm 119)
John 3:7-15
The saving grace of the Holy Spirit of God is always available, as Christ Jesus demonstrated so powerfully with his death and resurrection. I have a choice each moment of the day to stay ensconced in the drama and demons of present human conditions, or to transcend these and embrace the opportunity to be reborn from above. When I receive tragic news: will I descend into despair or smile into the face of the risen Lord? When I witness young people’s lives being sucked into the vortex of technology or other addictions: will I join the public hue and cry, passing judgements hither and yon, or will I allow the Prince of Peace to uphold my heart with compassion and connection? Christ Jesus, help me be born from above each moment of every day. Christ had to suffer and rise from the dead, and so enter into his glory. (Luke 24: 26) Let us dance with delight in the Lord and let our hearts be filled with rejoicing, for eternal salvation has appeared on the earth, alleluia.
