Holy Spirit, renew me in knowledge, according to the image of my Creator ...

Colossians 3:1-11
 
I can acquire all kinds of knowledge, especially in this age of technology!  But knowledge ‘according to the image of [my] Creator’,  is specialized, mysterious and acquirable only through the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit of God.  As a human being, I am called to live into the image of Creator God that is stamped deep into my being.  So often I can be caught up with the glitz and clatter of the world. But when I focus on the ‘things above’ where “my life is hidden with Christ in God” ,I gain knowledge and understanding about the Faith, Hope and Love of God, that lead to deep joy and unshakable peace.  Holy Spirit, every minute of today, renew [me] in knowledge of things above, according to the image of [my] Creator.
