Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path. (Psalm 119)
Colossians 1:1-8 Though it is intangible, hope is one of the most powerful of all life forces. It produces joy where there is suffering, life in spite of despair and peace in the midst of chaos. Truly hope is pure gift from God – a gift that is intrinsically connected with faith and love, and ultimately the grace of God. Moreover, it is free for the finding and requires only that I be open to seeing life circumstances from God’s point of view. How much of my life is invested in hope, rather than in complaints? Holy Spirit, strengthen your hope within my life. I trust in the kindness of God forever. (Psalm 52:8b) Overflow with hope by the power of the Spirit. St. Paul, in Letter to the Romans 15:13 www.gospelmysteryoftheday.ca Soli gloriam dei.
