Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path. (Psalm 119)
I have heard the gospel. It is meant to bear the same fruit that was produced in the life of Jesus, and to continue to grow in me to bear more fruit in due season until the end of my life here on earth. Am I sufficiently attuned to the growth and fruits of the gospel in my life? Is the good news of Christ’s mercy, justice and peace always running as the ‘operating system’ of my thoughts, words and deeds? Holy Spirit let the gospel bear fruit and grow in me.
The Lord sent me to bring good news to the poor and freedom to the prisoners. (Luke 4:18)
