Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path. (Psalm 119)
1 Corinthians 3:18- 4:5
Wisdom is as crucial as food to survival and abundance of life. Just as there are many varieties of food, so there are many kinds of wisdom. And just as there are a few healthy foods among all the foolish and frivolous groceries that line the shelves of a supermarket, so there are only a few types of wisdom that truly feed the human spirit and align one’s soul soul with that of my Creator. Do I embrace any kind of deeper knowledge that appeals to me, or am I serious about the kinds of wisdom I pursue, preferring God’s wisdom to all else? Christ Jesus, help me embrace your wisdom, not the wisdom of this world.
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4)
Mission is always the fruit of a life which knows what it is to be found and healed, encountered and forgiven.
Soli gloriam dei.
