1 Corinthians 15:20 -23 Adoration: Christ Jesus, I belong to you ... Intercession: Christ Jesus help N._____ to realize he/she belongs to you ... When I am unsure of who I am, I try to find belonging in human families, work places or other organizations. Then I am subject to the whims of individuals and rules of membership that can change suddenly and leave me alone and often isolated. But when I realize that I belong to Christ Jesus through the sacrament of baptism, I have an immutable position in life that can withstand any number of changes or challenges. Then I no longer have to ‘find’ someone or something to belong to. I can rest in the surety that I belong to the family of God. Do I know to whom I belong? Christ Jesus, help me -help my spouse, my friend, my children - realize that I/they belong to you. I was glad when they said, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!” (Luke 122:1) Love aright and you will never be sad. Embrace God’s will and you will be filled with joy and peace.
