Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path. (Psalm 119)
Tobit 2:9- 3:1 & Mark 12: 13 -17
It is easy to be good and holy at prayer, in mass, celebrating the sacraments, or reading scripture. But what of my relationships with my family or community? It is in family and other close relationships that the depth of my holiness is tested to be true or false, deep-seated or superficial. Do I, like Tobit, ‘become flushed with anger’ or do I practise charity and deeds of righteousness on the home front? Holy Spirit, help me walk my talk of holiness.
May the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ enlighten the eyes of our heart, that we might see how great is the hope to which we are called. ( Ephesians 1)
